The HX460D Semi-Automatic Book Sewing Machine is designed for thread sewing of gathered signatures in sizes from 150 × 80 mm to 460 × 320 mm. The operator manually places signatures on the feeding station, after which the machine automatically completes signature feeding, sewing, thread cutting, counting, and book block delivery at speeds of up to 90 cycles/min. It supports up to 14 sets of fine needles with a minimum 16 mm needle pitch for dense and precise sewing. The PLC control system, variable-frequency drive, color touchscreen, LED lighting, and photoelectric sensors provide automatic monitoring of thread breakage, broken needles, thread-hooking failure, and missing or multiple signatures. A heat-treated wear-resistant cam system, adjustable bearing rollers, and centralized lubrication ensure accurate needle alignment and stable long-term operation. The machine is suitable for both softcover and hardcover book production.
